Who we are
Timothy MacDonald is a former psychiatrist turned writer-director-producer, with a body of work exploring memory, silence, and transmission. He founded SPORELIGHT as a vessel for character-driven, emotionally precise films. His latest feature, The Shape of Silence, is currently in festival consideration.
A companion short, Dark Batch, is also in pre-production and being considered for festivals and labs.
